i like reading paulo coelho's novels. it's deep but somehow it's soothing and makes me wonder about myself too. parts of the things he write seems to come from his own experience and thoughts about life. i like his works cause it makes me wonder if i can be the character in his book or if i can do the things the character does (one day or now).

i've finished reading the alchemist, eleven minutes, and veronika decides to die. still reading zaphir, but i still got along way to go. i guess work gets in the way most of the times.. tongue

i love reading novels as well, im a hist major so i read lots of novels lol....(tho it can be eye straining.......) but one book i really like that i finished last week was "Night" by elie wiesel, it can be somewhat disturbing for the younger readers, but it's a basically a surivor book from the holocaust, it's very deep and tragic yet at the same time it hits u, makes u reflect upon ur self, and im probably not doing this book any justice but i'll just leave with a quote that has been deeply engrained in my mind, a quote that really stood out to me...

"...to remain silent and indifferent is the greatest sin of all..." Elie Wiesel

Oh and to those that have an insterest in historical periods (esp in chinese), i propose u guys to pick up some novels (eg, condor trilogy & etc) by jin yong, or (legendary twins, eleventh son, etc) gu long, they are truly profilic in their respected department of genres.

i love to read novels when I'm usually bored but they usually are related to manga. Like now I'm reading Howl's Moving Castle.

I've only just started reading Novels, my first series was the Twilight Saga, then I read Vampire academy series. After them I was hooked on reading. I most read paranormal romance but do read some normal romance novels such as harlequin. I'm currently reading Emma and the Earl by Paula Marshall because I've recently read some of the manga and loved it.

i do read novel but not much on manga side. I read some of the twisted mystery books but i just forgot the name of that one book that made me speechless. I do read some action book like 1/2 prince. It was interesting but fun to read them.

I'm on a historical cozy mystery kick at the moment, so I'm busy polishing off Rhys Bowen's "Royal Spyness" series and Carola Dunn's "Daisy Dalrymple" series. They're fun, easy reads.

The only subject of your books that my brain can comprehend is mathematics. I'm suck at the rest.

I prefer to read manga though, reading novel and its pages full of letters make my brain tired.

The only novel that I read is harlequin. Before that I enjoyed reading Enid Blyton's novels.

I've recently read 'The Night Circus' and I thought it was an amazing and magical read! The descriptions come to life and are beautifully done and there's also romance cool
I highly recommend it
