Since we have a thread on our favourite manga, we should also talk about who our favourite mangaka are. Anyone have any favourites, or do find that you tend to read a wide range of series and have little overlap?
I follow the works of quite a few people, but my absolute favourite mangaka are Nakaji Yuki (Venus wa Kataomoi, Junai Labyrinth), Tsukuba Sakura (Penguin Revolution) and Akizuki Sorata (Akagami no Shirayukihime). |

I don't have A favorite mangaka but several as always, for exemple there's Ai Yazawa (especially her oldest works), Yumi Tamura (great adventures with her always), Hiroyuki Asada (love his artwork *0*), or Atsuko Nanba (love her lovestories always a bit difficult ><) |

In shoujo manga, I'd have to say Maki Youko (Aishiteruze Baby) is definitely one of my favourites. Her art is absolutely beautiful o_o I don't know why, but I'm really drawn to it. And her stories are adorable. I really loved Yamamoto Zenjirou to Moushimasu Pika Ichi is also not bad. <:
Like Remoneko, I really like Tsukuba Sakura...although this might just be restricted to the one series by her that I've read LOL. I read Mekakushi no Kuni way back when I was in Grade 7 or 8 and I loved it. |
